Dave Kraai

Therapist Intern

IMG_1075.jpeg

Dave is in his final year as a graduate student in the Masters of Science – Marriage and Family Therapy program at UW-Stout. Having grown up in the trades and as an entrepreneur in the health, wellness, and helping industries, he now looks forward to bringing his life experience and varied background to his work as a therapist.

Dave is passionate about people.  He believes in the potential of every person and sees working through the inevitable challenges of life as the means of unleashing that potential.  He would say there are no ‘broken’ people, but rather that all are on a journey toward greater wholeness.  Dave enjoys exploring clients' stories and backgrounds to bring greater understanding of their current reality, offering his systems-based lens to his work with couples, families, and individuals.

When he isn’t meeting with clients or doing school work, Dave will likely be found either at home with his three kids and wife of 18 years or on the lake trying to ‘catch a big one.’  He loves music, doing house projects, and being out in nature (especially camping, hiking, and fishing).
