Frances is a student in the MS-MFT program at UW-Stout. Prior to pursuing a degree in marriage and family therapy, Frances worked as a user interface engineer during which she developed a strong interest in systems and how they can both benefit and hinder the people who participate in them.
Frances values a therapeutic relationship based on co-creation and co-regulation and is passionate about using her clinical privilege to redefine human experiences from a non-clinical lens. She has a special interest in neurodiversity and the amazing abilities of different kinds of brains, believing that brains falling outside of “typical” are not “disordered". She loves working with families, children, couples and also enjoys individual therapy.
Frances resides in the Twin Cities area with her family. Kept busy with her rambunctious school age children and her big pitbull mix pup, Frances also enjoys reading, knitting, and gardening. She has a special affection for ideas that challenge dominant paradigms and loves a passionate debate.
