Jenna began her career as a social worker in 2008 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Since that time, her work has been focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness as they attempt to gain stability in their lives. In the process, Jenna became passionate about helping people to understand and address challenges with their mental health. To further her training in this area, Jenna made the decision to obtain her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, graduating in June of 2021 from the University of St. Thomas.

Viewing therapy as a partnership, Jenna enjoys helping her clients see their own strengths and immense value as human beings. She believes everyone deserves to feel truly seen and heard and that connection is essential to the healing process. Jenna’s approach to therapy pulls from a mix of solution oriented and psychodynamic methods to develop tangible ways to manage current stressors while helping to bring understanding to the ways life experiences have played into problems being faced in situations and relationships.

Jenna has a strong interest in supporting those who have experienced various forms of trauma, individuals with substance use challenges, college-aged individuals, and mothers navigating the stressors of being a parent. With her fundamental belief that all human beings are awesome, Jenna also welcomes working with any individuals outside of those specific groups.

Jenna lives in River Falls with her husband, five children and two dogs, with whom she likes to go on road trips, camping and hiking. Jenna also enjoys reading, gets way too excited about good coffee, and never tires of watching reruns of Friends.
