Payments and Rates
Therapy is not a luxury, but a vital part of health and well-being. Making counseling affordable for as many families as possible is important to us at Adulteen Counseling. That's why we have created several different ways to access our services:
With our main office in River Falls, Wisconsin office and our partnership with Hudson Counseling Services in Hudson, we are able to take many of the major insurance plans in the area, including the following:
River Falls Location:
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
Pierce County Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
United HealthCare (UHC)
Hudson Counseling Location (in addition to above):
Sand Creek EAP
Please note: The insurance networks listed above are for Brian Crim. Currently, Candice Maier is in-network with Anthem BCBS only. Other insurances may be utilized on an out-of-network basis.
When utilizing insurance benefits to pay for counseling, it is important to know what your plan covers. Please be sure to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to verify that your therapist is in-network with your insurance plan, and what your co-pay, co-insurance, and deductible are, to help you determine what you will pay per session (if anything).
Please note that while we do our best to verify coverage with your insurance company, the ultimate responsibility lies with you to know the limits and benefits of your plan.
For those who do not have insurance or have a network we are not currently credentialed with, we are able to offer services on a self-pay basis. If our standard rate is not affordable for you, your therapist may be able to adjust the rate downward, depending on your income. We want to make counseling work for your family!
Standard rate: $100 per 45-50 min. session
Some prefer to use the private pay option over and above utilizing insurance, as it gives them the ability to keep their counseling information strictly confidential without releasing it to an insurance company. Feel free to ask one of our therapists to explain this more fully if you are not sure which option is right for you.
