For over two decades, Brian has walked alongside adolescents and their families in a variety of settings in the St. Croix Valley.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout's Marriage and Family Therapy program, Brian founded Adulteen Counseling with the hope of offering support to children 10+, teens, adults, and families through quality yet affordable counseling, seminars, and parent groups.
Known in the area for his expertise in adolescent transition to adulthood, Brian also specializes in parent-child relationships, emotional trauma, high-conflict marriages, and relational conflict. Brian is also able to provide faith-based counseling for those who request it.
In addition to teaching as an adjunct professor at University of Wisconsin-Stout, Brian enjoys working alongside the Pierce-St Croix County CARES Coalition in their efforts to help parents and communities better understand teens. It was with this goal that Brian developed the Understanding Your Adolescent seminar, which has been sponsored by area hospitals, schools, and churches.

Married for 26 years and the father of four awesome kids, Brian's favorite activities include: football in any form (watching, playing, coaching), ice cream runs to Knoke's Chocolates, strategy games (Risk, Settlers of Catan), water and snow skiing, traveling, and consuming great steaks. He and his family have made their home in Hudson for the past 25 years.
