Jacque has spent most of her adult life caring for children and adults in a variety of settings. With a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling, her work experience includes working at a group home for adult women with developmental disabilities, as a substitute teacher, co-leading a therapy group for children and adolescents, providing individual and family therapy for school age children 5+ and adolescents, and working on an adult inpatient mental health unit. Through these experiences, Jacque has become skilled at calmly providing support and guidance for children, adolescents and adults who are in crisis.
Jacque views counseling as a collaborative process in which she and her clients partner together to address challenges in a healthy and effective way. Some of Jacque’s counseling specialties include anxiety, depression, group therapy, and women’s issues. In her free time, Jacque loves to read, drink tea, play games, hike, and explore the cities and towns of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
