Having worked on the administrative side of the counseling industry for over a decade, Jennifer found herself drawn toward supporting clients more directly and entered the University of Wisconsin - Stout's Marriage and Family Therapy program, graduating in 2021. Currently she is working toward independent licensure in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.

For Jennifer, therapy offers a unique opportunity to be present with other human beings as they explore their own inner worlds and core relationships. She believes in the power of reflective listening in a safe context to allow for new perspectives, growth, and possibilities to emerge in her clients' lives. Seeing the worth in each individual, Jennifer considers it a sacred privilege to be with her clients in their dark and confusing places, assuring them that they don't have to be there alone.

Her interests include somatic therapy (working with the body and nervous system to manage stress), trauma, family systems, anxiety, depression, individuation, religious trauma and spirituality. She is a huge fan of EMDR for its power to bring rapid and significant transformation, and utilizes Internal Family Systems as another favorite method for gently addressing the complexities of the human experience. Therapy with Jennifer typically includes a lot of compassion and laughter and she is fond of reminding her clients how much both they and their stories matter. Jennifer enjoys working with couples and entire families and thinks that college students are especially awesome.

A resident of Hudson for over two decades, Jennifer and her husband of 25 years have 4 wonderful children and one brand-new daughter-in-law,

all of whom they are so proud. A rock climber, flute player, and aspiring Spanish-speaker, Jennifer also loves traveling to non-touristy locations around the world and deep conversations with friends over really dark coffee.
