Sarah is currently enrolled in the Master of Science - Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and will graduate in August of 2024. She is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they journey towards greater fulfillment and life satisfaction.
Sarah’s approach to therapy is client centered, strengths-based and affirming. She is trained in systemic thinking, and she believes in a community-centered approach to individual well-being. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and believes in everyone’s right to live authentically.
Sarah was born and raised on a dairy farm in Sweden and spent her teen years in India prior to moving to Minneapolis for college. Sarah’s first career was in the consulting and finance field where she held leadership roles at both Fortune 200 companies and in local government. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in business administration and she is a certified public accountant. The through-line in her varied background is her ability to navigate transitions, build authentic relationships, and communicate in a direct but warmhearted manner. Sarah looks forward to bringing this unique blend of experiences, both personal and professional, into her therapeutic practice.
Sarah lives with her partner, their three school-aged children and dog Kota. In her free time, she can be found at her children’s many sporting events, spending time with family and friends, reading, or enjoying the outdoors.
